Introduction
In Lesson 1 we learned that, Secwépemc people introduce themselves in a way that allows a person to know their name, where they are from, and who their family is.
We also learned that an introduction is presented in a humble manner. It is important to recognise that our introductions differ slightly depending on the audience. The introduction you practiced in Lesson 1 is appropriate for any situation where you are introducing yourself to one other person. Here, in Lesson 2, we learn the appropriate manner to greet more than one person in less formal, everyday situations.
We will explore the language and requirements for formal greetings in Lesson 3.
